If you plan on offering mediation services, getting certified supplies you with the tools, skills and training necessary to be effective in your role. Some insurance providers even require you to be certified. If you do not plan on offering mediation services, a certification in Mediation can still be highly valuable on resumes, and provide you with essential everyday problem-solving skills you will 100% use in any real life situation!

How long is the certification course?
The entire program is 100% self-paced with weekly live trainings to help support you. If you register for a cohort, you will be supported in completing the program within 4 weeks.

How many times can I take the exam?
The exam can be taken an unlimited amount of times for the duration of your course.

What can I do with a Mediation Certificate?
The possibilities are endless. You can launch your own practice & take on clients directly, contract with a company or organization, or choose from the thousands of job opportunities available in the demanding market. Some professionals (i.e Real Estate Agents, HR, teachers, etc) complete a Mediation certificate to enhance their skills and raise their value in the marketplace.

Can I start mediating right away?
Yes, once you've completed the course you can start mediating right away. Some students may be interested in doing practice mediations during the course, however it is not required.

What if I need help or I get stuck?
Even though the modules are pre-recorded, a live instructor will be available to you at anytime. You can simply book a Zoom call or reach out by email & the instructor will be available to help you. For general inquiries or other questions, you can post anytime in the Student Community.

What if I don't complete the course within 30 days?
We recommend completing the course within 30 days so you can see immediate results. However, we understand everyone has differing schedules. You will have lifetime access to the certification program, and can start/stop whenever you need to.

Can I perform Family, Divorce or Business mediations with this certificate?
All of them! We certify you in the fundamentals of mediation and touch on various types of mediation during the course to ensure a comprehensive understanding of how mediations work in different settings.

Our certification is GLOBAL. You will be able to mediate in any state, province, or country. You do not need to get certified in every location you wish to take clients or work in.

What if I fail the exam?
If you fail the exam, we recommend you review the results and study the areas you need to work on. Make sure you book a 1-1 with the instructor so they can help you and you can re-take the exam with confidence.

Do I need a degree to become a Mediator?
NO, you do NOT need a degree. Mediators are neutral professionals, not lawyers. Therefore, do not provide legal advice or legal strategy to clients. Mediators are trained in the art of negotiation, bargaining and dispute resolution and can mediate any matter, regardless of prior education or matter expertise.
